Peacefully passed away on 1st March 2009 with his family at his side at The Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby, late of Chatteris House aged 85 years. Husband to the late Elizabeth, father of Terry and Gary, father-in-law of Irene and Julie, grandad and great-grandad. Suddenly and unexpectedly while in the care of the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital Grimsby, Christine aged 46 years sadly passed away, very much loved and devoted wife of Andrew, wonderful mum of Keely and Jay, James and Emma, adored nanny of Aimee, Evie and Harvey, cherished daughter of Margaret and the late William, special stepdaughter of Peter, much loved sister of Andrew, Linda, Anne, Mandy and Paul, treasured daughter-in-law of Jean and the late Colin, loved sister-in-law, aunty, niece, cousin and good friend to many, who will be sadly missed by all that knew her. A celebration of Christine's life will be held at the Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 9th March 2009 at 1.40pm All are welcome to attend. He leaves behind a devoted wife of 56 years, Erika, daughters, Patricia and son-in-law Kenny, Hannah and son-in-law Bob, Dagmar and son-in-law Mike; grandchildren; Andrew, Sharon and partner Eileen, Richard and partner Amy, Ashley, Leanne and husband Noel, Kenny and partner Mel; great-grandchildren David, Chloe, Connor, Kieran, Aaron, Callum, Megan and Faith. Sadly passed away after a short illness in the care of Eaton Court Nursing Home, and previously AI Ward, Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby. Margaret aged 78 will be reunited with her late husband John. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Lynne and son David. She was a wonderful and devoted nanny to Isobel and William, a dear sister, aunt, mother-in-law and friend.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday 5th March, 1.30pm at Corpus Christi Church, followed by interment at Scartho Road Cemetery.
