After a brave fight, borne with courage and dignity, at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby on 31st December 2008, aged 84 years. Much loved mother of Hazel, Rita, Sue, Bev, Mandy and the late Ernie, loving nanna and great-nanna, mother-in-law, aunty and a good friend to many, who will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. A service to celebrate Ruby's life will be held at the Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 12th January at 1.40pm. Suddenly but peacefully on 31st December 2008 after a short illness, a kind, caring and loving lady, Emily Speed, sadly passed away aged 85 years at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby. Devoted wife to the late Les Speed, and wonderful mother to Doreen, Raymond and Brian, mother-in-law, nana, great-nana, sister to Lil and late Charlie, Jack, Renee, Roy, Mary and sister-in-law to Rose. Emily will be so sadly missed by all her family and friends. A service to celebrate Emily's life will be held on Friday 9th January at St Nicolas Church, Great Coates at 10am followed by burial in the Churchyard. At the family's request mourning wear is at the discretion of mourners but the wearing of something pink would be nice as this was Emily's favourite colour. Wife of the late Harold Knapton (The Grange, North Kelsey), devoted and loving mother to the only son, John Edward Knapton and much loved mum to Margaret, grandmother to Amanda, Luke and Kate Nettleton, great grandma to Joshua, Lewis and Mason, sister to Ernest, Eileen and Enid, sister-in-law to Joyce, David and Jim. Auntie to many nephews and nieces who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A service to celebrate Kathleen's life will be held at the Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 5th January, 2009 at 1pm where family and friends are to meet.

Now resting with her beloved daughter and son Carole and Tom and her husband Ernest, will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Tracy, Kelly and Steven and all her great-grandchildren, beloved sister to Ruby, Margaret and Babs and sister to Olga.
